Great story. A real page turner. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. I really didn't know how to answer the question about violence, as there is more violence on day-time TV by far than in this book. Although there is some death it is only part of the story and there is not much of it at that. Wisdom and Truth and the search for them is the main theme of the story, and the return of them to a society which has lost sight of wonderment, joy and meaning, leaving only the empty husk of lives lived in quiet desperation. A commentary on our society which often seems to have gone off the rails, and more importantly, how to get back.
